Founded in 1998, we are a bilingual group of lesbian mothers and mothers-to-be providing community, exchanging information, sharing resources and having fun together with our children.

Nourish our community
Every month, we have activities: some for the whole family and some for mothers only. These provide an opportunity to explore the issues facing lesbian families and to simply have fun together.

Exchange information on parenting

This includes medical, legal, psychological and social issues for lesbian parents. We discuss education (daycare and schools) and how to deal with homophobia. We also produce a quarterly newsletter.

Share resources
Members have access to our book and video library, including our own Alternative Parenting Guide.

Represent lesbian mothers and their families
We advocate rights for lesbian mothers and their children, through contact with government bodies and the media. We also work to raise public awareness of the reality of lesbian-headed families with activities such as marching in the Pride Parade each summer and participating in conferences.
